Causes of Mumin Aid, how it operates and achieves its goals.

Mumin Aid is a UK registered charity, reg 1122896, working globally with faith. Mumin Aid is working in UK, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Gazza, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Eretria/ Morocco, Turkey, and Gambia. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support Mumin Aid has achieved the following success:

1. Masjid and Madrasa Project.

Masjid is the house of Allah and serve as the main hub for Muslim Communities. Madrasah is the garden of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and provides the necessary education to the future generation. BMF/Thaqwa Masjid and Madrasah in Birmingham has been serving people of every walk of life since 2010. It used to be a pub, the world’s filthiest place. Now It is the best place on earth. There are 315 students and 23 member of staff. Over 100 people attend the daily prayers and over 1000 attend the Friday prayer. BMF/Thaqwa offers people services from birth to death. Taqwa Madrasa in Halb, Syria was established in 2023. There are approximately 170 students and 5 staff at the Madrasa now. There are 67 orphans in the Madrasa. One orphan can be sponsored for £275. The Madrasa is being renovated. Once completed, it will serve 1400 students.

2. Orphans and Widows Sponsorship.

Allah and his Prophet love the orphans. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support Mumin Aid has sponsored 500 orphans and 150 widows. The cost for the Sponsorship is £175. Mumin Aid builds houses for Orphan and Widow as part of Sponsorship Programme. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support, Mumin Aid has built 5 houses so far. Cost of building one house is approximately £3000/00.

3. Sponsoring Students.

Education is the light and students are the bearer of it. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support Mumin Aid has sponsored 39 Hifz students. The cost of Sponsoring a non UK Hifz student is £200 per year. The cost of sponsoring a UK Hifz student is £3000 per year. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support Mumin Aid has sponsored five UK Madrasa students and three UK university students. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support Mumin Aid has sponsored five talented college students in Bangladesh. To support the orphans and widows, Mumin Aid carried out 260 Adhia/Qurbani last year.

4. Fresh Water.

No one can survive without water. Many people die because of water related disease. Insha Allah, Mumin Aid intends to supply 75 freshwater facilities. The cost of proving one water pump/tube-well is between £200 to £600. We intend to provide 100 Big Water tanks to the people of Gazza. You can support the people of Gazza by buying a big water tank for only £200.00

5. Free Eye and Medical Camps.

Health is the a great blessing of Allah. Being able to see the beautiful creation of Allah is really amazing. Many people in poor countries are considered blind due to curable illness. The poor people do not get the eye treatment because of the poverty. Hence, they remain blind until they die. Imagine the joy you can bring to the blind person by giving their vision back only for £75? Insha Allah, in association with VARD Eye Hospital, Mumin Aid intends to arrange 10 Free Eye Clinics in October 2024. Mumin Aid intends to give vision back to 7000 more people. You can give vision back to a blind person for only £75.00.

6. Emergency Relief.

Emergency can strike anyone, any time. Disasters are reminders from Allah to repent and return to Allah. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support, Mumin Aid has been working on the ground in Gazza since the Israeli aggression started in October 23. Insha Allah, Mumin Aid intend to provide 100 water tanks to save lives in Gazza. Each tank costs only £200.00. It will provide fresh water to at least 10 people for two weeks.

7. Organising Funeral for unclaimed bodies.

Arranging the funeral of deceased Muslims is a collective responsibility. In the UK, there are so many Muslims who die without leaving behind any relatives. If their bodies are not claimed by the Muslims, then local authorities will dispose of them in public graves or even cremate them. In the case of revert Muslims, their no-Muslim relatives will claim the bodies and would either bury them as non-Muslim or cremate them. To relieve the Muslim communities of this collective duty, we have taken this initiative to arrange funeral for unclaimed bodies. Alhamdu Lillah, with the mercy of Allah and your support Mumin Aid has arranged or supported 13 burial of unclaimed Muslim bodies.
